Vodafone has given its own-brand handset range an update ahead of Christmas, including the Vodafone 553, Vodafone 945 and a Miss Sixty makeover for the Vodafone 543.
An update to the Vodafone 845, the 945 is Vodafone’s second Android phone.
It ships with Android 2.1, Vodafone’s Music Service (with access to over 2 million DRM-free tracks), a 3.2-inch capacitive multi-touch display, 5-megapixel camera with flash, Wi-Fi and 300MB internal memory for apps, plus a microSDHC card slot.
The phone is available in black or silver.
The Vodafone 553 has a 2.8-inch touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard, with email, messaging and mobile Internet available with the Opera Mini web browser. The phone also includes Vodafone’s 360 People app, an address book that brings contact lists from a range of sources, including Facebook, into one place – while being backed up to the online www.360.com service.
The phone has a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, media player and microSDHC card slot. It comes in black, white, silver or pink.
The Vodafone 543, originally released in April 2010, has been given a makeover as part of a team up with high-street fashion brand Miss Sixty. It now comes with exclusive customised covers and accessories.
The handset has a 2.4-inch touchscreen and includes Opera Mini 5 for web access. It also includes a prepay balance indicator to show the remaining credit on-screen.
