Christmas from around the World

Christmas is so religious holidays and increasingly secular holiday is strongly influenced by local culture. As a result, Christmas traditions are as diverse as the world's diverse cultural.
In the United States, for example, Christmas traditions are a literal potpourri of Christmas traditions brought
by immigrants, mostly European. For example, Yule log (English), Christmas tree (German), carols or noels (France), Santa Claus (Netherlands); more recently, later Christmas traditions have come with the most recent immigrants as the luminaries (Mexico) and "Feliz Navidad digital!"(Latin America in General).
The following is a whirlwind tour of some fun and different traditions of Christmas around the world.
Africa
